Proof of Canadian citizenship, the original parchment and an official transcript showing the field of study, any hospitality diploma or certificate, and an employer letter naming the profession as Appendix 2 states it. Where the diploma branch is used, the three years of hotel or restaurant management experience need their own documented record.
Build the file around the branch you are relying on
The bundle should make the qualifying route obvious without an officer having to reconstruct it. Start with the passport establishing citizenship. Add the credential that satisfies the chosen branch, in original form with the transcript that names the discipline; where a concentration is being relied on, the transcript matters more than the parchment because that is where a hospitality stream is usually recorded.
If a foreign qualification is involved, an equivalency evaluation and a complete certified translation should accompany it. The employer letter then does the second half of the work: the U.S. entity's legal name and address, Marguerite's name and citizenship, the profession stated in the Appendix 2 wording, the property she will run, the duties in concrete terms, the salary, the reporting line and the period requested.
Where the diploma branch supplies the credential, letters from previous hotels confirming dates, titles and responsibilities should be assembled into a continuous three-year record rather than left as a résumé.
