Everything that turns a completed business sale into a documented chain: the share purchase agreement, valuation, closing statement, corporate and shareholder records, personal and corporate tax filings, and then bank statements tracing the proceeds account by account into the enterprise.
Assemble it as a narrative with an exhibit behind every sentence
The most workable approach is to write the story of the money first and then attach a document to each assertion in it. For a sale of a greenhouse and garden-centre group that story runs from formation and ownership, through the years of trading evidenced by filed corporate returns, to the sale itself with its agreement, price allocation, adjustments and closing statement, and finally to the receipt of proceeds. Any debt discharged at closing, any holdback or earn-out, and any amount paid to a co-owner needs its own line.
The path half then follows the funds through each account: the corporate account, Hélène's personal account, any currency conversion, any intermediary, and the transfer into the enterprise or escrow. Where the daughter or husband contributes nothing, say so; where anyone gifts or lends, that person's own source evidence joins the file. Documents in French should be accompanied by complete certified translations.
